Studio Dress Code

A dress code ensures that a teacher will be able to see a dancer’s alignment and positioning. The teacher needs to be able to see a dancer's mistakes. Baggy clothing can mask bad habits, making corrections impossible. Tights are encouraged in a pink or light color because they make the lines of the legs more visible, allowing the teacher to see which muscles are working during a step. A dress code will also teach students discipline, helping with overall focus and energy. By "dressing the part," dancers feel like dancers. Please see the dress code requirements for each class below. Dancers must have attire to go over leotards when entering and exiting the studio.
